Each one of these patches is a small but powerfull tribute to the spirit of America in 1976 as well as an authentic collectible 50 years later for the quarter 250th birthday of the world's greatest country."

Detailed Story

An active-duty Navy Seabee with a passion for authentic retro patches has been collecting patches for years. Together with his wife, he began selling them online offering a diverse selection of genuine vintage patches ranging from classic beer brands and defunct airlines to Olympic memorabilia, college logos, and iconic car emblems.

Always on the hunt for something truly special, he came across an intriguing lead less than a year ago. Someone in rural Pennsylvania had uncovered a stash of old patches inside an old warehouse.
Sensing the potential, the Seabee made the trip in January 2025 to examine them in person.

What he found was nothing short of astonishing: a trove of original, uncirculated 1976 Bicentennial Commemorative Patches, created nearly 50 years ago to celebrate America's 200th birthday.

These patches are more than fabric and thread, they are pieces of history. Preserved by chance, rediscovered by a patriot, and now ready to be shared as we prepare to celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary.
